This class is for beginners or anyone who wants a refresher on basic crochet skills. You will learn to: Create basic stitches, increase and decrease, change colors, read patterns, and finish pieces. You’ll use these skills to create a striped, two-color scarf. For this class, you will need to purchase the following materials: * 3 skeins of Plain Jane - Sand Washed Sport 78% Cotton/22% Acrylic Yarn (50g) in two to three different colors. Make sure they are light colors. With darker colors, it's harder to see the stitches. * an I (5.5 mm) crochet hook * scissors * a bent tip tapestry needle * locking stitch markers * tape measure
